Clinic Features
The function of the Wildcat Tennis Clinic is to develop the sound fundamentals needed to play tennis. This developmental process will be accomplished using the following in-depth instructions:
- Staff Demonstration
- Group and Individual Instruction
- Drill Stations
- Match Play
Schedule and Staff
This year's Clinic will run from August 9th through August 13th. The Clinic is held at the Boutwell School Courts from 9:00-2:00. Each day includes warm-up and stretches, an overview of game rules and etiquette, skill stations, lunch, and match play. In the case of inclement weather, the Clinic will be held indoors at the Wilmington Middle School.
The Clinic's director is Matt Hackett, former Wilmington High School Boys' Tennis coach, and Belmont Hill School Tennis Director. He will be assisted by current and former varsity players, and guest tennis teaching pros.
