Welcome to our site!

Welcome to the Wilmington tennis community. This website will bring you information on local tennis activities throughout the year. Please email the Friends of Wilmington Tennis with any questions, concerns, or comments you have about our tennis community and the information on this website.

The Friends of Wilmington Tennis (FWT) page explains the mission and goals of this non-profit organization. There are many ways you can help the Friends improve our community's tennis facilities and programs. The Friends is currently seeking board members. The commitment is minimal (once a month or less). Please contact the Friends if you are interested.

The Local Courts / Tournaments page lists our community's public courts, as well as local, indoor facilities to accommodate your passion. This page also includes information about three significant local tournaments that occur each year in our neighboring towns of Reading, Stoneham, and Burlington. These are well-attended fundraising events with strong competition.

The Wilmington Recreation Department's tennis clinics continue to grow and improve. You can view its current clinics by visiting the Recreation Tennis page.

The Tennis Ladder is designed to keep the high school team players playing post-season tennis. Visit the Ladder page to learn more about it.

The Wildcat Tennis Clinic is in its third year. It is directed by Wilmington's high school coach, Matt Hackett, and is designed to expose our middle school, freshmen, and sophmore players to this great game, and to develop their skills and match play.

The Links & Partners page lists local industry partners, and local, national, and worldwide links to tennis tournaments and organizations.

Thanks for visiting, and we look forward to seeing you on the courts!
